AK2006 -- Finger Mountain

Finger Mountain at mile 96 of the Dalton is a wind swept area of the arctic tundra with rock outcrops that have been geologically pushed up from underground. Scenic vista, but it was beyond windy when i came through, i guess explaining why there was little plantlife over a few inches tall. After 5 minutes of the wind chill, i was ready to jump back into the car and move on. . .
