AZ2004 -- Wupatki Ruins National Monument

About 20 minutes north of Sunset Crater, this National Monument protects the Wupatki Pueblo. 800 years ago, it was the largest around and served as a meeting place between tribes, despite have few sources of food or water or even comfort in one of the hotest & driest parts of the plateau. (The color on these pics were affected by a camera settings error)
