TAMU1999 -- TAMU Bonfire Memorial

When the TAMU Bonfire collapsed, I had several friends who were students past & present. Thanksgiving that year was spent down in Houston some of those friends, and on the way back up we stopped at the makeshift memorial created on the site of the disaster.

This was a memorial signing board. I dont remember if it was already there, or something somebody had built after the colapse. But everybody who came through left a message or two. . .

. . .The log debris was quickly removed from the site, and the orange web fence was wrapped around the perimeter. It quickly became a place for people to leave their sympothies. . .

. . .I have no idea who this kid was, but it seemed like a good Norman Rockwell style pic. . .

. . .One of my TAMU Alumni friends decided to leave something for the memorial.
